For long Apple iPhone users where not able to save money on international calls, but now every Apple iPhone user can make low-cost international calls via Truphone. The Truphone iPhone application enables you to make VoIP calls on your iPhone, similar on how people use Skype or Nettophone.The Truphone iPhone application can be downloaded to the Apple iPhone with just a few clicks, and is free to download. There are no monthly subscriptions or other charges, and users get about 150 Baht of free credit when they register.
Users of the service will be able to call international for as little as 60 Baht per hour, depending on the country they calling, and they avoid expensive roaming charges. The Truphone iPhone application uses the (WiFi or 3G) high-speed network capability of the Apple iPhone to call.
How does the Truphone iPhone application work, the iPhone application is using VoIP technology, VoIP is a special protocol optimized for the transmission of voice through the Internet or other packet-switched networks.
