HTC Touch Diamond Network Unlocked

HTC recently modified its policy, and is now allowing users of its tri-band (900MHz/1800MHz/1900MHz) Touch Diamond to download necessary software to unlock the 850MHz frequency band support built into the handset. The 850MHz and 1900MHz frequency bands are used by Hutch and ThaiMobile, the two Thai CDMA network providers.

The HTC Touch Diamond is defined by its compact size, Internet and its new 2.8-inch TFT-LCD with 3D touch interface called TouchFLO 3D.

TouchFLO 3D provides animated access to people, messaging, email, photos, music, weather and more. In addition, HTC is introducing a new touch-sensitive control for interacting with Touch Diamond.

Other features of the HTC Touch Diamond include HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA, 2.8-inch VGA resolution screen, Integrated GPS for use with maps software for a full turn-by-turn satellite navigation experience, 3.2 megapixel camera, Wifi, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.

The HTC Touch Diamond uses the Qualcomm® MSM7201A™ processor running at 528Mhz, it is equipped with 256MB ROM and 192MB DDR memory. And has a storages capability of 4GB.
